Originally with the Ministry of Food, the FNB was shifted to the Ministry of Women and Child Development in 1993. FNB believes that nutrition is the focal point of health and well-being. Rajiv Gandhi Mission for Watershed Management
This is an ambitious programme of Government of M.P., for sustainable development of area on watershed basis. It not only aims at conservation of natural resources like land and water, but also attempts to improve economic conditions of villagers by enhancing their employment opportunities in their village. This programme has initiated the approach of watershed management through community participation. Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society
It is estimated, based on recent reports that 5.2 lakh people are living with HIV/AIDS in Andhra Pradesh. It is disturbing to note that, despite the best efforts, more than 90% of the HIV infections are occurring through unprotected sex. According to the World Bank directives the National AIDS Control Organization took up the initiative to launch the National AIDS Control Programme through the state registered societies of the each state. Employment Generation and Marketing Mission (EGMM)
Employment Generation and Marketing Mission (EGMM) is a society set up by the Department of Rural Development of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government to provide employment to the rural unemployed youth. EGMM has emerged as one of the largest employment missions working for the underprivileged youth. To date it has trained 2,26,909 people and placed 75% of them in entry-level corporate jobs. Of these, 45% are girls and 37% are SCs/ STs. EGMM works in a public-private partnership mode with Government, companies and the rural communities as its stakeholders. Tata Institute of Social Sciences, National CSR Hub
Tata Institute of Social Sciences, National CSR Hub TISS, is a pioneer educational institution in social sciences with decades of experience in teaching, research, publications, and field interventions. The National CSR hub is coordinated at the School of Management and Labour Studies (SMLS) at TISS. The hub carries out activities in a partnership mode i.e. TISS, civil society organizations, and the concerned PEs. Broadly, core functions of CSR Hub at TISS include inter alia Research, Publication and knowledge dissemination, Capacity Building, and Advocacy. A dedicated team of faculties and research associates at TISS work in collaboration with DPE, and the concerned Public Enterprise.
